Summer is a great time to get out and exercise. The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and people are more willing to partake in outdoor activities. But just because summer is officially here doesn’t mean you should stop getting in your daily workouts. Staying active and healthy is essential all year round, but even more so in the summer months when the weather is warmer, and people are more inclined to be outside.
Walking Lunge in summer exercise
When summer rolls around, many people get in a rut. Rather than taking walks, they may spend most of their time inside trying to stave off the heat. However, it is the perfect time to get out and exercise. Instead of sitting inside, engaging in exercises such as walking lunges are a good way to get your heart rate up without sweating profusely. Walking lunges are an easy summer exercise that strengthens and tones your legs and abs. Lunges are a great exercise because they target several muscle groups at once and work the core and glutes. This exercise is beneficial because it works the quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, glutes, back, and abs. When performed correctly, walking lunges will increase your lean muscle mass, tone your body, and help you improve balance.
If you do this incorrectly, you can cause yourself an injury, which wouldn’t exactly help your summer plans. There are ways to stave this off of course, as mentioned before doing the exercises correctly will make it easier, but if you normally have tight muscles that get sore easily, you may find the benefit in going for a deep tissue massage in San Diego, CA, or wherever you are based, so that you can remain fit but also safe as you workout.
Running With High Knees
When I first learned of High Knees, I wondered why anyone would want to run that way on earth. But neither running nor dancing are my strong suit, so I would never have been the kind of person to teach it. My concern was that I could never run fast enough, and I wouldn’t look cool while doing it. But during a brief stint of unemployment, I spent many an hour in a running club, and there I observed firsthand how running with High Knees is a lot of fun. Running can be a great way to keep fit while also enjoying the great outdoors. But many people aren’t realistic about what they can do when starting out. If you’re worried about being fit enough to run, take heart: many beginning runners successfully train for marathons each year. And the good news is, you don’t have to run a particular way. Most runners don’t run traditionally at all, even as they train and compete in races.
Side-step Exercise
Side-step exercise is an exercise technique in which you alternate stepping sideways on one foot for every two steps you take on the other foot. Doing such exercises with weights or without weights helps strengthen core muscles and balance while also improving cardiovascular fitness. Best of all, these exercises can be done anywhere, including at home, at the office, or when travelling. Anyone who enjoys walking, running, jogging, and other forms of exercise like cycling or swimming, should know that exercise isn’t all about burning calories and burning fat. Exercise can also improve your health and mental well-being, and it can also help you lose weight. So, if you want to get in shape but aren’t interested in hitting the gym, then sidestepping might be your exercise option of choice.
The exercise named Butt Kicks
Exercise doesn’t need to ever be boring, and new research is discovering the benefits it has for a butt! Good exercise habits strengthen bones and increase a person’s bone mass, as well as reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. It helps break down fat, and fat happens to be our number one enemy in the fight against excess weight and a major cause of cellulite. This fat pushes against surrounding muscles, causing cellulite, which results in a dimpled skin appearance. Luckily, exercise not only reduces the dimpled skin appearance but also decreases the dimple appearance. However, if the dimple appearance and cellulite persist, it would be best to consider opting for TempSure treatment to effectively address cellulite and regain a flawless look.
Distance Running
A jog around the block can feel like a stroll in the park. But, running a long distance takes both endurance and strength. To gain endurance, gradually increase your distance over time. When you take a long-distance run, you’re not only engaging your cardiovascular system but also relaxing your mind and using energy. The benefits of such running include burning calories, building strength and endurance, leg toning, and increasing your lung capacity. For beginners, the best time to try running is in the morning, before the hustle and bustle of the day begin.
